DNG Letting & Property Management Services
The comprehensive service offered to you by our lettings teams includes: -
Simply contact one of our offices to arrange for one of our experienced Letting Agents to call to your property and assess the level of rent which could be achieved.
Once instructed, your property will be included on our Lettings Listings which are updated daily and are distributed throughout our branch network.
The "To Let" board is one of the most cost effective methods of advertising that your property is available to let. Our distinctive DNG To Let boards are well recognised and considered an indicator of a quality property. These will be placed on the front of your property in order to attract as much attention as possible.
The internet will provide the greatest possible exposure for your property. We will advertise your property on www.dng.ie and on the main property listing portals.
For your own peace of mind DNG will screen all potential tenants. All tenants must provide references from the previous landlord(s), employers, and banks or other financial institutions. All references are checked thoroughly and confirmed prior to the signing of lease agreements.
We provide a legally binding lease agreement for the specified period as requested by the landlord. The lease takes into account all provisions as set out in the Residential Tenancy Acts. If requested, we can at renewal stage provide a renewal service.
Generally, tenants will pay one month’s rent and one month’s security deposit upon signing the lease. We will deduct our fees and any other outlays from this and send you a balancing statement. The security deposit will be held by the landlord and will be returned to the tenant once the tenancy agreement comes to an end or when the tenants vacate the property.
Readings for ESB and Gas are taken on the day the tenants move into the property. We request that the tenants contact the ESB with readings to transfer the account into their own name for the period of the lease agreement. The same applies to telephone and broadband should they wish to avail of these services. Due to the security policies operated by each of these companies, DNG are unable to make this transfer. We are however able to transfer the Bord Gais account into the tenant's name should this be required.
As part of our property management service our management teams across the country liaise with appointed maintenance service providers to resolve any issues arising in a managed property.
Our lettings teams can conduct periodic property inspections as part of our property management service offering, providing reports on inspections to landlords detailing the up to date condition of the managed property.
